Why Dubai Drains Block More Often Than You'd Expect
Dubai's water supply carries a high mineral content, which deposits limescale inside pipes faster than in most cities.
Add the cooking oils common in residential kitchens and the fine desert dust that enters outdoor drainage, and even newer plumbing systems accumulate partial blockages within 18 to 24 months. In older buildings — particularly those built before 2005 — pipe gradients were sometimes laid too flat, which means waste sits rather than flows. Our plumbers see this pattern constantly across Deira, Karama, and Jumeirah. Catching a partial blockage early costs a fraction of what a full sewer backup repair runs.

Hydro Jetting: When a Plunger Won't Cut It
A plunger shifts loose debris. Hydro jetting removes the problem entirely.
We push water at up to 4,000 PSI through a rotating nozzle, stripping grease, mineral scale, and compacted waste off the pipe walls rather than just punching a hole through the clog. This method works on kitchen drain lines, shared building stacks, and outdoor sewer mains up to 150mm in diameter. Most pipes we jet look close to original bore size once the work is done. It's the only method we recommend for commercial kitchens and any residential drain that has blocked more than twice in a 12-month period.

CCTV Drain Inspection: See the Problem Before Fixing It
Guessing what's inside a pipe wastes time and money.
Our CCTV drain cameras travel up to 60 meters inside your pipework, transmitting live footage so the plumber can see exactly where the blockage sits, what caused it, and whether the pipe wall itself is damaged. We use this on every main-line blockage and any situation where multiple fixtures are draining slowly at the same time. The footage is recorded, so if a landlord or building manager needs documentation of the pipe condition, we can provide it. You pay for one inspection, not repeated visits.

Floor Drains and Cleanout Access Points
Floor drains are the most overlooked part of a building's drainage network.
In Dubai bathrooms, laundry rooms, and parking levels, these drains carry significant volume but rarely get cleaned until they back up completely. We clear floor drain traps, replace corroded grating, and — where the plumbing layout allows — install or service a floor cleanout so future maintenance takes minutes instead of hours. A properly accessible plumbing drain clean out saves building managers from pulling up tiles every time a line needs snaking. We document cleanout locations for facilities teams managing multiple units.

Blocked Kitchen and Bathroom Drain Repair
Kitchen drain lines fail for a predictable reason: fats and oils cool and solidify roughly 2 to 3 meters downstream from the sink, where the pipe temperature drops.
Bathroom drains block from hair and soap scum compacting over months. Neither type responds well to chemical cleaners long-term — the blockage reforms faster each time. We mechanically clear the obstruction, then flush the full line to confirm nothing else is restricting flow. For bathrooms where the drain sits under a tile floor, we use flexible drain rods that reach around bends without any excavation.

Commercial Drain Cleaning for Dubai Businesses
Restaurants, hotels, and food-processing facilities in Dubai generate drain loads that residential plumbing systems never face.
Grease traps fill in weeks, and a single blocked main line can shut down a kitchen during service hours. We schedule commercial drain cleaning at night or in the early morning to avoid disrupting operations. Our team handles grease trap pumping, kitchen stack jetting, and the documentation some Dubai Municipality inspections require. Contracts are available for quarterly or bi-annual maintenance, which most commercial clients find cheaper than paying for emergency callouts after a backup.
